3) Assure the net lamp that Router connects with DVR &Pc is on.
4) Assure IP of DVR and PC are within same subnet.
5) Assure when you Ping DVR’s IP through “cmd” in DOS interface, you could get
responding as below(here just take optional IP as example), which indicates net is
normal.
6) Assure the address you input in IE’s address bar is correct, in the meantime, confirm
inputting method is English.
7) You could close IE, reopen a new IE interface to visit.
2. Why I can’t visit DVR through DDNS ?
Please confirm following points to check step by step:
1) Please consider step 1 to assure whether you could visit DVR through LAN
2) Assure you operated Port forwarding correctly for Media &Web port on Router’s
interface.
3) Check in LAN other devices like PC could get on line or not, which can judge whether
your broadband is normal.
4) Assure you get correct clue for Router’s WAN IP, also guarantee you input visiting
address is right, it should be like 【http://】+【WAN IP】+【:】+【web port】 , common
mistake users make is either to miss 【http://】or 【:】+【web port】, or use wrong WAN
IP. If you could visit through WAN, then port forwarding is without problem, vice versa.
4) If you could visit through WAN, but can’t visit through DDNS, then it’s mainly
because configuration for DDNS on DVR’S operation interface is not correct, user
must input DDNS’s host name in full, i.e, vvmedvr123.dyndns.org, at the same time
it’s better to set password less than 8-digit.
5) Assure DNS IP inputting in figure 6 above is correct.
